艺术俱乐部

任何年级的学生都可以参加艺术俱乐部. You do NOT have to be in an art class in order to sign up. We are responsible for keeping the school as creative & colorful as possible – we create backdrops for Homecoming, the Family Dance & 毕业舞会. We help with any spirit week decorations or banners needed. 这个俱乐部绝对适合任何有创意的人!

Debate club is a group working on the development of arguing while maintaining a respectful environment with classmates on a wide variety of topics. Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes. We seek to make disciples through our methods of engaging, 装备, and empowering athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. F.I.R.E.

Friends Involved in Resistance Education is a student-organized prevention club to help spread the word of healthy living. The main outreach of the club is to encourage students to be drug free and alcohol free.

游戏俱乐部 is an opportunity for anyone that has a passion for video games. The club meets weekly for an hour after school to play various games on Switch and Wii consoles. You do not need to provide your own console but are welcome to if you would like. 一学年的会费是5美元.

The SHG 国际学生 Club is for SHG students from foreign countries, meeting monthly to share experiences and support each other. 国际学生 have quarterly social outings to get to know Springfield and celebrate the international community of SHG!

The SHG 学术碗 team is an IHSA-sponsored group that competes in the CS8 Conference during the months of November and December. The 学生大使 provide information to area middle school students and junior high students interested in attending SHG. They participate in a variety of student marketing activities and extracurriculars.

W.Y.S.E.

WYSE is a test-taking competition that has been run by the University of Illinois for about 40 years. In this competition, it is all written tests in many subject areas. 学生 sign up to take tests in certain subject areas against other high schools and can advance to regional, 地区和州比赛. Usually WYSE is only for upperclassmen, given the content that must be known.
